What are AI Preferences?

• Enabling AI in Nectar adds an AI button to key pages, helping you craft nominations and shoutout summaries, and more coming soon! The AI leverages your company's data to generate summaries and insights, saving you time and effort by eliminating the need to comb through data manually.

Please note: If you do not see this available in your account as directed below, the feature is either not turned on or not available for your account type.

How to turn on/off AI Summaries

• To edit the AI Summaries to be on or off you will need to be a Nectar Admin.

• You will go to Settings > Integrations > AI Preferences at the top of the page.

• Another disclaimer will pop up that verifies what you are enabling and that you consent to the use of AI for processing your data. Once you click the box, then click Enable AI.

• The settings will also confirm who enabled/disabled the setting, date and time.

How it works

Shoutout Summaries

• Currently, you can only generate summaries for individuals one at a time.

• To generate an AI summary for an individual, navigate to their profile from the User's tab, then go to Activity > Received.

• Individual users can generate summaries for their only profile data.

• Managers can generate summaries for any of their direct reports assigned in Nectar.

• Select the date range from the drop down that you want to generate the summary for and then click Generate.

• It will then start to generate a summary from the selected date range.

• Once generated, it will show the date range for the summary for reference.

• The summary will stay until you select Re-Generate for the selected date range.

Nominations

• When you are looking at Nomination submissions and don't want to read through each individual submission for an individual, you can generate a summary for their submissions.

• To do this, navigate to Manage Awards > Nominations and click on the nomination you are looking at.

• Scroll down to the Review Responses and click on the individual that you want to summarize for.

• Under their name, you will see the AI Summary of Nominations option and you can click Generate. You will then get a concise summary of all the Nominations that individual received.
