# G-Chat Integration Installation

This article goes over how to install Nectar with G-Chat and how it works.

## Installation for Organization:

- To install G-Chat for your whole company you must be a **Google Admin**.

- Go to the Google Marketplace, search for **Nectar** and select **Admin Install**.

- A pop-up will appear where you will need to click **Continue** to adjust what permissions you will give Nectar to access.

- Select what groups you want to install the app for, agree to the Terms & Conditions and click **Finish**.

- Once installed, your employees will be notified in their email chat that it has been installed.

## Installation for Individuals:

❗ The Nectar Google Chat app needs to be on the allowlist for the organization/group, but needs to be configured as "install individually" for this option.

- To install G-Chat go into your G-mail account and go to the chat tab.

- Then click **Explore Apps**, search for **Nectar**, and click **Add**. Then you can either have a singular chat, or add the app to an existing space.

- Once it is added, you will have a separate chat designated that says **Nectar (App)**. You will receive notifications here whenever you receive a shoutout. (see below)
